Ready to go on DAY ONE                                                                                   As one of the most active and visible parent volunteers in the district, Bonnie has been involved in the schools for ten years and district-wide for five years. She has served on Executive Boards of Scottsdale Parent Council, Arts in Education Council, and IB Parents Association, and the Blue Ribbon Advisory Council, site councils, and district committees.

No conflicts of interest                                                                                       With no political or professional conflicts of interest, Bonnie is ready to address the needs of the entire district and all student learners. Her children attended Arcadia, Desert Mountain, and Saguaro, and she waited until they graduated to run for Governing Board, so she could address interests of the school district as a whole—not just one constituency. 

Experience with all stakeholders                                                                        As a parent, technology coordinator and educator, Bonnie has worked with students, parents, teachers, administrators, superintendents, and state level Department of Education personnel. She has served on site council for elementary, middle, and high schools in SUSD, so she understands how educational issues change as students grow and graduate.
